Rishi’s Simple Brew teawares are made from borosilicate glass. Borosilicate glass is formulated with boron trioxide, which has the ability to perform without cracking under extreme temperatures. Due to the chemical construction of borosilicate glass, it is mechanically stronger, harder, and more scratch resistant than sodalime glass. In addition, borosilicate glass is chemically resistant, so no need to worry about the absorption of cleaners into the glassware, creating a safe brewer for teas.
