Make it an invigorating day. Crafted from sweet spring-harvest sencha and bold, umami-rich matcha, this refreshing iced tea brews into a vivid green infusion brimming with caffeine and L-theanine. We source the matcha and sencha directly from our longtime partners in Kagoshima, Japan, where clean mountain air, mineral-rich volcanic soils and skilled growers produce some of the world’s finest green teas. Serve in a big pitcher, alongside sushi or sesame rice crackers.

Origin

Kyushu Island, Japan

Kagoshima Prefecture is located at the southwest tip of Kyushu (the third largest island of Japan) and is largely mountainous and home to important lumber, fishing and agriculture industries. Much like the rest of Japan, this region has well manicured tea gardens with well-developed irrigation, and farmers follow strict growing procedures to produce this perfect tea bush shape and size.

Based on an 8oz cup of tea made with suggested steeping method relevant to the tea type. An average cup of coffee contains about 90 – 120 mg / 8oz cup.

Tea Preparation

1. Place 1 tea sachet in a 1-liter pitcher.

2. Add 500 mL 175°F water.

3. Steep for 2 minutes.

4. Add 500 mL cold water. Remove sachet. Pour over ice.
